The bestselling round of Fic Rush has come to an end! In the comments, please tell us how you used your fame this round to accomplish the Things! I personally learned a lot in the last hour of Fic Rush, including how to do the name thing instead of just usernames!

It was such a good round for me. The first time in idk how long that I actually got to sit on a story. Plus, I received such lovely and helpful advice on what I considered quite a problem.

Huge round of applause for all the mods! And congrats to everyone who took part and got some words down.

In total I got nearly 900 words written as well as 4 and a half inches of a sock knitted. Plus I collected my new car (that really hasn't gotten old yet :D) so all in all it's been a really successful weekend for me! :D

So, last round for this year ?! But it was a good one for me. Because I had Saturday my day off I was around a touch longer than usual and I managed to write:

1 very short ficlet (150 words) - 1 story for a Christmas Challenge, I wasn't sure I would be able to finish in time (about 3K) plus, as a nice extra, a started to write another story (990 words yet). This means it was my best fic_rush_round ever.

I just love this comm, no matter how low the writing mood is, a round together with all of you always reminds me that writing is F*U*N

Thanks for that - thanks to Beth for this comm, to all the mods who help to keep it running and to everyone else around. Can't wait for the next round.

Thanks everyone! I got some fannish things done that needing doing, like finishing and posting recs posts and editing and posting a Yule-treat, and also 1200 words of unexpected flashfic.

I did much more writing this time - ~1000 words of yuletide fic, finally - but less fic_rushing, and I think I really had more fun last month. I'm very glad the fic got done, though!

Apart from writing I spent 6 hours in a library researching dissertation stuff, went Christmas shopping, knitted a bit (my wool doesn't barf, it sheds its skin - so one minute I have a nice neat ball and the next I have a smug looking smaller ball and a great tangle of wool lying all around it...), read a bit of a book about 18th century culture (more studying), and failed to go to bed early.
