I specifically voted for fic_rush to be this weekend because I have a challenge fic due this week. I spent the entire rush listening to an eight-hour epic fantasy retelling of The Wizard of Oz, doing an extraordinary amount of washing up, and achieving no writing whatsoever.

And then, after the rush was over, I sat down and started writing, and now I have a usable first draft.

My brain is weird.
