fic_rush Round 1 is open.
Midnight GMT is in just over an hour and the first hourly post for round 1 is up early. (For future reference, here's the fastest way to get the current GMT time regardless of where you are.) To save your flists, the hourly posts are in
fic_rush_48. You don't need to join (or even log in) to reply to the posts there.
If all goes smoothly, there shouldn't be another post here in this community until round 1 is over.
So whenever you see this, head over to
fic_rush_48 and post in the top post. Introduce yourself, say what you're writing this hour and how long you plan to be around, maybe reply to a couple other people, and then get to writing. Come back hourly for new posts, where you can brag or commiserate as appropriate.
Lastly, a big thanks to everyone who spread the word about the comm. (And hey, if someone happens to IM you this weekend, asking what you're up to....) :D
edit: There's a thunder storm starting outside. If I vanish, the plan is this: keep checking in at the start of each hour as usual, using whatever the latest hourly post is. My co-mod will pick up the ball when it's her turn. By the time her turn is over, either I'll have my connection/power back, or I'll go into town where there's a cafe with free wifi. Just thought I'd warn you.
