Wheee! The Rushiversary is over! What a round!!

Post here and brag about what you accomplished this weekend! (Note for newcomers: you can post wordcounts, what fics you worked on/posted/etc., progress in general. Please don’t post excerpts. Feel free to boast about editing, beta work, vids, etc., as well as writing.)

Behold the Schedule, in all its glory! Let me know if tweaks will be needed. We have replenished our supply of tweaks and can spare a few without difficulty.

However, I regret to announce some of the mods are still lacking pretentious nicknames. Please remedy this at the earliest opportunity. I have supplied a few of the missing items myself, subject to the recipients' approval, of course.

Round 30 will be the 23rd and 24th of June. We'll be 3 years old! There will be cake!

Mods, please confirm whether or not you'll be able to do that weekend, and I'll get the schedule up.

This round didn't have as many people or as much activity as we often get: it's a major holiday weekend in the US, and a lot of our regulars weren't able to come. Others dropped in when they could. Those of us who were here and got stuff written had a truly EPIC time. We even started the round with an invocation to the muse, and it doesn't get more epic than that.

If you haven't already voted for when you'd like the June round to be held, for heaven's sake, vote already.

So tell us what you accomplished! Even if you weren't here!

Round 29 will be the 26th and 27th of May. Although that weekend was the clear winner, it isn't the best for everyone; I wish it had been.[Poll #1840777]

Also worth noting: the June round will be our Rushiversary! The very first round was in June of 2009. We'll be three years old! In dog years, we'll be old enough to drink in the US!

So take a moment to think happy thoughts of

studyofrunning, the founder of this comm. Although she's not active here these days, we wouldn't be here without her, writing like mad, swapping crack and good cheer, and being sad when a given round is on a weekend when we're not free to ~~play~~ write.

I've been on the road for the last two weeks, with internet access that tended towards the sporadic. Now I'm home and it's Poll Time![Poll #1840079]ETA: This entry is actually in a Sekrit Code, in which 'May 25th and 26th' actually means 'May 26th and 27th'. (Thanks,

For once, we even seem to have avoided more than a fractional amount of timey-wimeyness. Much chocolate and other goodies were consumed, much writing was done (as well as editing and other Good Things).

Time for the ticky boxes again![Poll #1829542]

Wow, there was a lot of activity during this round! In spite of the UK only getting 47 hours. Accordingly, after numerous attempts at cloning existing hours, we have launched an Extra Special Make-up Hour, to be used at your convenience. We will provide aardvarks and cookies, and install a giraffe-proof fence.

The USA and Canada are now on Daylight Savings Time.

The UK goes on DST on Sunday.

Australia is still on DST, but goes off it the next weekend.

Israel is not on DST, but goes onto it the next weekend. Israel, do wave hi to Australia as you pass each other in the temporal vortex, won’t you?

The UK wears a ~~blue~~ flowered hat, lives in a ~~wooden house~~ bed-sit, and likes ~~waffles~~ curry. The Pacific Coast wears green sneakers, lives next door to the yellow submarine, and drinks coffee . . . oh, wait, that's a different kind of maddeningly obscure puzzle.

Also, Chibi is bringing cookies.

fic_rush Hive-Mind has Spoken, in favour of having Round 26 on the last weekend of February, the 25th and 26th. We shall Make It So.

Mod Squad, please let me know if the following schedule will work for you. In particular,

Despite nemeses, bonsai giraffes, plotholes, and improbable (and possibly inappropriate) uses for crochet hooks, much fic has been written! Post here and brag about it!
