I absolutely can't make it July 7th and 8th, I'm time travelling. :D
(More literally, I've got a re-enactment event scheduled that weekend - but I'm going to be functionally in the 1700s all day both days AFAIK, so. Same difference. XD *shrugs*)
(and apparently I am also going to be time-travelling on the 14th and 15th, to the Civil War. I forgot about that one. O_O But fic_rush invariably falls on the busiest weekend of the month for me anyway... *g*)
Nah, Pitry is spending two months in a mixture of studying and working and moving a few continents! :D I'm just too unpredictable for the next couple of months...I do hope to drop by so you won't miss me too much (and vice versa. Perhaps :P)
Victoria, BC. Close to Vancouver, but a bit further south (I think it's the lowest point in Canada? Anyway, it's already parallel to the US, and unless I'm much mistaken it's actually almost as close to Seattle as it is to Vancouver).
It's an odd time zone, I have to say. 10 hours earlier than my current one - EEP.
Oh, Victoria is SOOO GORGEOUS!!! It's on Vancouver Island, so although it's quite close to Vancouver, you have to take a ferry (or a plane). There are direct ferries to Seattle and to the Olympic Peninsula. My partner and I went to Victoria for a short visit a few years ago, while I was living in Seattle.
I adore both Victoria and Vancouver -- I think British Columbia is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

(Actually, I am rather boggling myself by the amount of a life I have got, these days. I always used to tick all the boxes too. *g*)
