Round 39 has ended!

Wow, that was a GREAT round!  We had several new people peek in, and lots and lots and LOTS of writing (and other creative things) accomplished!

Post at will here and brag about your accomplishments!  And take a moment to thank the mods, including the Heroic Stunt Mods:  dbskyler, welfycat, isdon_isgood9, agirlnamedtruth, sidlj, lothithil, justice_turtle (Stunt Mod Extraordinary), lullabymoon, alinaandalion, lost_spook and myself.

We've had a truly wonderful suggestion from seriesfive:  we're going to put together a Fic_Rush collection at Ao3!  Watch this comm for more details; they will be posted as soon as they exist.  (Sadly, there is insufficient timey-wimeyness to post them before they exist.)

Overall I added 500 words to my draft and finished it! The finishing bit makes it much more productive than the 500 words would suggest as I've been procrastinating on this fic for ages. That and I was Nemesis sitting yesterday as well.

Thanks to all the mods! It's been a great round, and I don't think there was any timey-wimey shenanigans this round! Obviously we have managed to keep the penguins sufficiently corralled.

I got quite a lot done really! I wrote a book review that's been plaguing me for two weeks, I modded several hours, and I figured out a few things about tagging on my Newberys comm. :D

I finished the one thing I really, really needed to finish. 947 words on Saturday, and 1,210 words today, once I'd figured out what to do with the final section of the story.

I finished it about 30 seconds before rush ended! \o/

I wrote some emails to betas and to my artist for a big bang. Also, I fiddled with resizing art banners so they will fit on my LJ page and on AO3s page, and I did a serious edit of my Incredible Hulk TV show big bang (approx 60,000 words.)No run on sentence was safe from my copying and pasting them into stand alone sentences. Also, broke up dialouge more, as that was another thing I was squinting hard at this time around.

Thank you mods, I appreciated the cheering.

This was so much fun! My first go-round with fic-rush! I have no idea how many words I managed... somewhere around 2000. I've made a good dent in a few projects and come to the conclusion I want to start finding competitions/anthologies to submit to. (Suggestions welcome!)

In the approximately two hours of fic rush I got in this round, I finished a first draft and did a first pass of revisions on it. Thrilled! And since that was procrastinating from other creative work, I actually also managed to get a lot of other creative work done this weekend. I missed hanging out and writing and checking in with everyone though! Great job to the mods as usual.
