Special thanks in particular go to juliet316 and sidlj for stepping up as Fic Rush Irregulars, to dbskyler and lullabymoon for covering gaps, and especially to xandromedovna, who has earned the title of xandromedovna and shall be known as such until the next round, when the title will be up for grabs usurpation!  Xavia covered two additional shifts beyond her own (and shows no more signs of insanity than usual)!

I started editing the thing due next weekend, got the basic bodies for my art claim done, and casually wrote a 3K fic that I didn't even plan on writing. Oh, and as everyone knows, I made cookies ;)

374 words in the last couple of hours, 664 for the round. Thank you to all the other mods for the helpful encouragement! I finally figured out what to do with this overdue fic, and I no longer fear that it will be a piece of crap. WOOHOO! If I hadn't had to dash out of town to acquire culture/have fun/travel through torrential downpours I'm certain the story would've been completed during Rush. I'm thisclose. :-)

What were my goals again?

I got a chapter posted on a SGU/SG1 fic. I did some very necessary research of looking at Robert Carlyle in California Solo and rewatched some SG1 episodes. I'm sure I did other necessary things, too. Cleaning the house wasn't one of them. Chasing after the grandbaby happened too, on Friday and Saturday.

I wrote a fic! It's still in the final-edit phase, but it's 599 words and very close to being ready to post!

Also, I wrote a title for a fic that had been ready to post except for the fact that it had no title. I took me just as long to write the *()(#&)#$ title as it took to write the other fic! But thanks to fic_rush (and especially idlewild_) I accomplished it!

Wrote a 1000 word History essay and 2,057 words of a Christmas gift exchange fic. Thanks fic_rush and congrats everyone else! :D

Didn't get nearly as much done as I'd have liked (and I was away practically all day today, which didn't help). Hopefully December will be kinder.

Got around 300 words down, but accidentally deleted half of it. Also, started being assaulted by plot bunnies in the late hours because obviously I don't have enough WIPs and need some more. :P

Finished up a fic (rewrote the epilogue, copy-edited, formatted), posted it, and immediately started worrying that it would be incomprehensible to anybody who wasn't familiar with the episode that inspired it.

(But it's already been given kudos by a complete stranger, so I'm feeling better about that.)
