Round 58: decision time!

The November poll was very even for all weekends, with no clear favourite.  On top of that, I've been travelling:  I'm still on the road, and will be in transit this coming weekend as well.  So, we need to make a decision.

Two decisions, in fact:  one of the available weekends is Thanksgiving weekend in the US.  If we pick that weekend, we have the option of making it a longer round (right at the end of November, which can be a real boon to the NaNo folks).

These polls, alas, have to be radio buttons, but I promise you a fresh set of ticky boxes afterwards.

I'm definitely not available Friday or Saturday. I may be available on Sunday, but I won't know for sure until Sunday. So I don't feel comfortable signing up for a mod shift, but hopefully I can participate, and even usurp if Family Thanksgiving Weekend Stuff wraps up before the round is over.

I opted for the extra day Thanksgiving/NaNo spectacular so I can be thankful I finished NaNo (or that's the plan) but I can still do Sunday from noon downwards on either weekend (and likely the Monday if we do extra).

I opted for long Thanksgiving because it sounds like fun. We will have company, but I bet I can still pull an extra shift or two to make long Thanksgiving happen if we go that way.

(We try to avoid having company that doesn't understand the nexus of creativity and the internet, and this lot will not be parents saying "look at you all sitting around with your laptops". This lot will be the kind of company that brings its own laptops and smart phones.)

The very welcome company is a serious knitter and seamstress, so it's more likely that I'll be distracted oohing and ahhing over whatever she's working on for Christmas. The good thing about crafty visitors is they are positively self-entertaining.

Both weekends work for me, though on the 30th I'm going to the local NaNo meet, I'm not sure about time it starts or how much of the day it will take? But other than that, fine with everything! :)
