Woo! Great job running/scheduling/herding as usual. And thank you for your incredibly useful notes on the thing what may become the second novella in progress on my hard drive.

I made a whole bunch of revisions to that bad boy, and I am seriously approaching the denouement of the Mac/DS thing... and I rewrote the prologue to "just #$*!ing set it outside already" as per the exciting author's note I left at the top of the document some months ago. So, all told, not my most productive rush, but could have been worse.

Actually, although I would have preferred to do more, I did get one very important thing done: I opened the draft of my first chapter, re-read it, made notes, and actually added about 150 words. It's not much, but it's something, and it's actual text -- about all I've done for weeks (other than unrelated crack) has been research, backstory, worldbuilding, more research, more worldbuilding . . . I need to dump the characters into a situation and just let them do stuff.

Oh yes. That's definitely a worthwhile step. 150 words is still forward progress with the text as opposed to around the text.

I wrote 2,332 words during the rush. I got three Five Things posted for tomorrow's unveiling, and two Five Things written for sg1_five_things's Help Japan high bidder.

I also finished my Kink Bingo Amnesty entry. Need a title for that. And maybe a beta wouldn't hurt. Then that can get posted!

So I started and finished six things! \o/

I wrote words! I don't know how many words, because I'm on a Linux laptop *phbbbbbbbbt* at my family's house and can't check. But words! And scene ideas! And my family is lending me a road atlas, so I can research the Epic Roadtrip my guys randomly took off on during finals week (theirs and mine, lol)!

And many thanks to the mod squad! And the emus! (Seriously, this has been an emu couple of days for me. *g* ODO IS AN EMU.)

I wrote and posted one fic of 779 words this weekend. I'm proud of myself for managing to stick to a writing deadline. :)
