Woo! Great job running/scheduling/herding as usual. And thank you for your incredibly useful notes on the thing what may become the second novella in progress on my hard drive.

I made a whole bunch of revisions to that bad boy, and I am seriously approaching the denouement of the Mac/DS thing... and I rewrote the prologue to "just #$*!ing set it outside already" as per the exciting author's note I left at the top of the document some months ago. So, all told, not my most productive rush, but could have been worse.

Actually, although I would have preferred to do more, I did get one very important thing done: I opened the draft of my first chapter, re-read it, made notes, and actually added about 150 words. It's not much, but it's something, and it's actual text -- about all I've done for weeks (other than unrelated crack) has been research, backstory, worldbuilding, more research, more worldbuilding . . . I need to dump the characters into a situation and just let them do stuff.

Oh yes. That's definitely a worthwhile step. 150 words is still forward progress with the text as opposed to around the text.
