Round 63 is over!

Tell us all what you accomplished this round!  If possible, tell the truth, although if you tell a whopper, at least make it an interesting one and include one or more explosions.

As always, please take a moment to thank the Mod Squad.  In spite of being short-handed, we actually got through the entire round without losing a single hour!  In addition to our stalwarts dbskyler, a_phoenixdragon, juliet316, xandromedovna, lothithil, idlewild_, and myself, lolmac, we had a Special Guest Appearance by lost_spook, the thrilling debut performance of ylla, and an extra-special unannounced guest appearance of our very own founder, studyofrunning.

Many many thanks to all, but especially to ylla, who covered the largest stretches of both Holes in Tyme, in her very first appearance as an Emergency Stunt Mod. She and lost_spook handled the really difficult hours when there often isn’t anyone commenting. Cheers and kudos!!

I walked a 5k, achieved some pixel-dragon-related goals, did my laundry, cooked writerly fishsticks, and snuggled the cat. Also I answered some comments. There was wordliness! ^_^

Congratulations to the Mod Squad, and a special round of applause to ylla, for successfully herding our unruly crop of hours! This is a very difficult, delicate, and dangerous task, achieved by few in the history of the 'Rush. :D (Mixing metaphors is also dangerous but a lot easier. XD)

I wasn't around nearly as much as I planned to be. I partied too hard on Friday, so on Saturday I didn't feel up to anything more complicated than level-grinding. Today, I got my longfic plot expanded to sufficient detail to know it's going to work, and to know every important thing my main characters will do and why. Also to know that this is a pretentious pile of shitty physics and unnecessarily complex philosophical themes. But dammit, science is cool and it's not like Doctor Who had too much of this stuff already.

I didn't actually get anything written, I'm blocked like a blocky thing, but seeing your posts come up every hour drove me to actually *think* about writing rather than jamming cheese in my ears and singing "tra la la" so that's a big advance on where I was... well, for a certain value of big.

I opened up an email containing 30 days worth of OT3 prompts and then decided I can't even remember what my OT3 looks like, let alone characterization. SIGH! DRAMATIC SIGH!

I also accomplished a tonne of necessary organizational work for next week's Open Studios, so ... I suppose I can cut myself slack. And assign "watch a bunch of favourite episodes on netflix sometime" as research.
