Date: 2015-06-01 02:28 am (UTC)Well...lessee: first, I saved the Pyrillian Galaxy from Hydrogen Pirates, came back in time to Mod a few hours, got captured by the Mafia (due to a bounty on my head because the captain of the Hydrogen Pirates has no sense of humor), defeated the head of the Mafia by NOT shooting at him, got embroiled in a pub-match (lost that, but we won't dicuss the unfair amount of cheating going on) and ran into some dude named Silver who somehow conned me out of my last handkerchief.
I then hitched a ride with the Corsair to get back to my own ship which had been stolen by a different faction of Pirates (they were Purveyors and Pervs of Pink Pantyhose - don't lookit me, I didn't name them), had to defuse the bomb they put under my steering wheel (well, it was either them or the Mafia), got the buggy fueled up and finally made it to one of (the many) stag parties for Captain Jack (friend of a friend, you know) which was the point of the whole trip in the first place.
Alas, on the way back home, I went too far back and got sloshed on some rum with ANOTHER Captain Jack (and I'm not saying Morgan - better stuff than that *CACKLES*) and finally staggered back to my own timestream, had a couple jiggers of coffee and a bath in the polar ice-caps before my next set of Modly duties. After another vigorous Round of saving the Universe, I came back to pound out 550 words of Truth As I Know It and posted it just in time for deadline.
I'm gonna catch a nap, see if those Hydrogen Pirates were ever disbanded, then go work a ten-hour shift. S'all in a weekend's work, really. No rest for the wicked, you know...
