* the good stuff eventually goes on AO3
* the Whofic eventually goes on Teaspoon
(Those last two categories don't always overlap. *g*)
I used to archive at FFnet, but I don't any more, so I didn't tick the box.

Oh, yes. I also post it at 852 Prospect sometimes(the coding is a tad difficult to do), and at Artifact Storage Room 3, another Sentinel archive.

Date: 2011-08-22 01:38 am (UTC)I post fic to my journal,
I post MacGyver smut to a comm I maintain,
Some of my recent fics -- Stargate and Stargate/MacGyver crossovers -- have been cross-posted to LJ comms in response to various prompt challenges, specifically the Alphabet Soup collections done by
The MacGyver fics are also gathering dust in the terribly badly organised Library forum at MacGyverOnline.
I have some old stuff at an archive site called Fan Nation, where I was active for a while.
I have one vintage Doctor Who crackfic that I really ought to get online at Teaspoon.

Date: 2011-08-22 02:33 am (UTC)FYI, I stay completely away from fanfic.net. I don't post there, and I don't even read fic there as I hate the interface.

Date: 2011-08-22 03:25 am (UTC)I post my stuff in all kinds of places, although I have to say that I don't think it's very useful. I do it just because I guess. Anyway, here's a list of places where I post my fic:
(Just as an aside, I do post those links to various fanfic archives on LJ. Don't know if it helps, but it's almost like advertising, so I go for it. )
I've never heard of Teaspoon. Is that a social media site? Or just an archive, like ff.net?

Date: 2011-08-22 08:44 am (UTC)It's usually Teaspoon for everything DW-related; and now AO3 for everything else. I do kind of have an LJ comm where I put things, but I'm erratic about posting fic to my LJ - usually just links to where the story is. (I don't really like reading anything other than very short fics on LJ.)
I did try using ff.net - I put three non-DW stories on it, but while it did get them some reviews, it was so fiddly to use, and then when I came back to it months/years later, it had eaten all my scene breaks. So I just gave up with Other Archives That Aren't Teaspoon until I joined AO3 and I've found that easy to use, with nice and handy features.

Date: 2011-08-22 01:43 pm (UTC)- my creative LJ comm
- my DW
- fanfiction.net
and
On another archive site that I'll identify in the comments:
http://fanfiction.oded-fehr.net
http://www.adultfanfiction.net
On my own fic website, other than LJ or DW, which I'll identify in the comments:
http://dreams.crystalfires.net - it's not a fic website, but my creative one. Gets all creative stuff I do, whether fic or wallpapers or icons or whatever. It's also the main site for all of that; posting to other archives and LJ/DW etc. comes second.
Whether the fic gets posted to other LJ and/or DW communities, depends on whether there's (an active) one for the subject.

Date: 2011-08-23 12:10 am (UTC)I post to my LJ/Dth and I post to the appropriate comms for the fandom. And drop links at the appropriate newsletters. People follow the things for a reason afterall. I tend to post directly to comms for a variety of reasons.
I have a bunch of stuff up at FF.N, but I've stopped using it completely. I rather hate the uploading interface, but that's really all that's keeping me from using it.
