I have a subject line and all that good stuff - but LJ's new owner has said that's a temporary situation. "For now, you can switch back to the old style from the beta. In the future, you won't be able to." (http://factionary.livejournal.com/2116.html) (Translated from Russian by one factionary, a native Russian-speaker.)

So I voted for "DW but LJ is okay", although what I meant was "I don't care as long as we have proper comment pages but we need to be thinking about the future". Which... you've staked out our spot on Dwth, so yeah, I'm good with whatever the comm does, as long as I can still find it. ;-)

Other thing: I didn't pick a date because I feel weird picking three out of four, but my preference is for "anything but the first weekend listed". I'm starting school on the 9th and I need to spend the weekend getting things in order. o_O

Picking three out of four weekends really is fine; no worries there.

Given LJ's uneven track record for changes, I'm not going to fret right now about what they may or may not decide to screw up in the future, or what timeline they might or might not have. At present, we aren't 'switching back' at all; we're in a layout that never changed in the first place.
