Yes, if the layout was one of those unaffected, then for the moment, we should all be fine. Unless, I suppose someone affected is viewing everything in style mine.

Let's see what happens, maybe? Last time LJ were this faily and provoked such an outcry they claimed they weren't changing the problem, and then they did anyway. Now it's past the Christmas hols, fingers crossed. I have nothing against DW, and I do have an account over there, so I'd still be able to take part (I could never work out Open ID, at least not before I lost the will to live/comment) but I just prefer LJ for the moment for various reasons, and I like to be in one place rather than two as far as possible.

If LJ do anything even more spectacularly stupid though, that may be forced to change, although I would be very sad.
