Round 26 is over!

Despite nemeses, bonsai giraffes, plotholes, and improbable (and possibly inappropriate) uses for crochet hooks, much fic has been written!  Post here and brag about it!

As always, many many thanks to the mods (most of whom did a double shift this time around!): dbskyler, welfycat, isdon_isgood9, lullabymoon, pitry, and lothithil!  I'm so glad we have so many wonderful people covering the 'Rush -- this absolutely could not happen without you.

I wrote a little over 5k this fic rush (2 on a dark fest piece and 3 on my dark verse piece, apparently I'm feeling very dark), I graded papers, and I made 10 icons or so.

Yay, productive weekend! (now, if only I'd done my laundry...)

So I didn't fall asleep but I didn't get any words done either. I am chatting to my author though about details for her epic.

This round has been a bit of a failure word wise. Blargh that's what happens when I tire myself out.

I wrote about 3,100 words, divided between 6 commentfic and 3 Five Things!

My kitchen is a disaster area. *g*

I wrote a comment about how I would rewrite a specific DS9 episode if I was doing my never-started maybe-someday Giant DS9 AU Rewrite of Added Awesomeness... does that count? ;-)

Also I battled the forces of Chaos. A lot. End result: clean clothes, kitchen utensils, no homework done, one very tired turtle. I am going to take out the trash and go to bed.

I didn't do any new stuff, but I edited like a fiend and re-wrote and added stuff in and tortured my character in an additional way.

Also wrote 2 recs for Crack_Van.

I am so sorry!!! My computer went down on Friday and I completely forgot it was a fic_rush weekend so I didn't contact anybody.

I'm currently checking up on the things I missed on my work computer. Hopefully my home computer will be back up and running this evening or tomorrow.

I wrote... some emails. But they were emails that I'd been putting off, and needed to be written.

Apart from that I made music, listened to music, and hung out with my niece and her parents, so I'm calling it a weekend well-spent.

The March round will be this coming weekend. I've had a bad combination of dental problems and out-of-town guests and kept forgetting to post the final confirmation!

I'm in Florida, so it started feeling like June back in February.
