Let me know if you need your shifts tweaked, or if I have forgotten your availability or lack thereof!  Worth noting:

The USA and Canada are now on Daylight Savings Time.

The UK goes on DST on Sunday.

Australia is still on DST, but goes off it the next weekend.

Israel is not on DST, but goes onto it the next weekend. Israel, do wave hi to Australia as you pass each other in the temporal vortex, won’t you?

The UK wears a blue flowered hat, lives in a wooden house bed-sit, and likes waffles curry.  The Pacific Coast wears green sneakers, lives next door to the yellow submarine, and drinks coffee . . . oh, wait, that's a different kind of maddeningly obscure puzzle.

Also, Chibi is bringing cookies.

*glazed eyes* I'm CST. Or is that CDT? Am I supposed to be on at 5 or 3 Saturday?

please... don't make me do math! My brain, it is broked.

It would be very unlikely for the UK to live in a wooden house, or eat waffles much. The blue hat would be fine, though. We could do that. In theory. (In practice, some people would, other people would argue, some people would wear red hats, other people would post on the net about the tyranny of hats... and I may be tired and therefore strange this morning. *stops self*)

However, I can conclude from the evidence that it will undoubtedly be a properly timey-wimey Round.

What happens to those of us in the UK who only have 47 hours to write?

Maybe it's just me, but the phrase 'extreme measures' makes me start getting worried. What are you going to do? It's not going to be... I mean, not the penguins?

Both shifts are fine for me though I feel the need to warn that I may be more distractable than normal on Saturday as Nemesis and I will be alone together. Dundundun...

Beth, I just got up and I haven't had coffee, and I'm squinting at the computer and my brain isn't awake yet but it looks like you've scheduled yourself on EDT to start at 8pm and and end at 6pm.

That's a cool trick. Dr Who must be involved, right?

I'm losing both. I was actually trying to figure out when fic rush started for me, since I'm on central time. Eastern time is an hour ahead of me.

Oh, good. The coffee is done.

I'm fine with my shift, and I'm making a resolution not to get called into work; have any friends cars break down; or have computer trouble this time.

Yup, you've definitely at least tripled the silliness quotient of fic_rush measured quarter-over-quarter. ;-) It's hard to imagine the 'rush without mind-boggling tangents and alien fish now.

*feels old* ;-)
