Round 27 is over!

Wow, there was a lot of activity during this round!  In spite of the UK only getting 47 hours.  Accordingly, after numerous attempts at cloning existing hours, we have launched an Extra Special Make-up Hour, to be used at your convenience.  We will provide aardvarks and cookies, and install a giraffe-proof fence.

In spite of major mental fog caused by recent dental trauma, I actually managed, not only to write, but to finish something: I wrote about 700 words on my main project, and also wrote a 300-word bit of crossover smut for thisbluespirit's new Blake's 7 comm, b7love_250. The smutlet also filled a fic_promptly prompt that had been lurking in my hindbrain for about a year, so yay!

I also wrote a couple of blog posts and a surprising number of thoughtful commets, but I did not write any dark!laundryfic. Yet.

Despite it feeling like a really unproductive weekend, I finished the very rough draft and started editing it, adding about 1200 words total over the weekend. Feeling much better about it now, even if it is due in on Saturday.

And now, bed. That missing hour has really knocked me for six. :D

Thanks for co-ordinating this mad bunch as usual! [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and I had a run in with a wormhole but apart from that little time-pocket episode, it was great to be back in the saddle!

I got... things... written. And unwritten. Tearing out the wrong words is as vital to writing as putting in the right ones, but less satisfying when it comes to my final wordcount for the weekend, which ends up in the positive by ... um... actually, no, I think it's still in the negative!

I got about 3300 words written, the last 733 being too much talk and not enough smut, so I still have some writing to do. LOL

Yay, thanks to everyone!

I wrote around 2900, CM AU and Stargateland fics, but did not work on my Summer of Stargate fic. But I did spend some family time. Yay.

Well, I got some chores done today, and some writing done, but not nearly as much as I wanted to get done on either.

But, ended up writing 3,398 words on my Sentinel Reverse Bang. The rough draft is due on April 7th.

I wrote a scene! And thrashed out some other scenes that were giving me trouble! They are in tidy outline form now. The last one hasn't got an ending, but I am sure that will come to me. ALL THE SCENES, they are working out most beautifully. XD Also I made a geography change to my story that should cause several things to work better! :D

As predicted in the opening poll, I accomplished eating, sleeping, grocery shopping, laundry, and family time - as well as performing music, reflecting sadly that the Fair was more fun when I was a kid, and reading The Hound of the D'Urbervilles, which there weren't poll options for - but no writing.
