Round 29 has ended!

This round didn't have as many people or as much activity as we often get:  it's a major holiday weekend in the US, and a lot of our regulars weren't able to come.  Others dropped in when they could.  Those of us who were here and got stuff written had a truly EPIC time.  We even started the round with an invocation to the muse, and it doesn't get more epic than that.

If you haven't already voted for when you'd like the June round to be held, for heaven's sake, vote already.

So tell us what you accomplished!  Even if you weren't here!

Rather to my own surprise, I got almost 500 words done on my main project, and about 800 words of commentary on the Big-Assed Picspams of Doom that I'm doing for RDA Daily. Plus laundry and other non-writerly stuff.

Thanks for making things run! I got things accomplished! One writing exercise polished and out on the net, one writing exercise drafted and ready to be edited. Some research - actual reading a book research. Not too bad.

I was mostly absent, because my eight months pregnant daughter decided that it might be wiser to come this weekend, and not the next one, and from the way the baby is dropping, I think that was a good decision.

So we had a birthday party for her, and I was madly involved in cleaning and cooking and OMG epic grass cutting. Fun was had by all, and they left last night, but my brain it was mush by that time. I slept in very late today, and did a few other things before starting to write. 277 words, but at least it's started.

I'm going for an under 10,000 word comedy fic, and since that's A. Short, and B. Not Angsty, that will be a change for me.
