The Great Epic Extra-Length Round 35 is Over!

And it was truly epic!!

With the US having a four-day weekend, we had the longest round we've ever done, beginning on Thursday with Hour -32 -- a staggering total of eighty hours of Rushing.  In all that time, not only did we not lose track of which hour was which (well, maybe a little, but not for long), we only had ONE hour in which no post was made.  (Yes, some were late, but that's normal.)

We had three baby mods modding for the first time:  Turtle (justice_turtle), Sid (sidlj), and Naomi (n_e_star).  Special thanks to them:  we could not have done this without the extra help.

Also, extra special thanks to lost_spook, who not only did a planned shift but also stepped in whenever the need arose (including when I overslept and missed the start of my own damned shift), and especially to the truly amazing isdon_isgood9, who covered both her usual shifts plus an entire extra one for an AWOL mod.

If you're still happily writing away, by all means, don't stop!  When we went from negative time to positive time, agirlnamedtruth kindly kept hold of the unused Hour Zero, which we have attached to the end of this round for you to enjoy.  You'll find it well-stocked with cookies, glowsticks, pasta, penguins, and all the other amenities.  Just be sure not to try to reverse the polarity, please.

I got about 1,500 words done which is pretty good considering I was barely here and spent most of my second mod shift led on my side in bed.

And more importantly, I now co-own a Writerly Italian restaurant, coming to a town near you!

And I will try to come up with a half decent nickname by next round :P

Also also, I wrote 1155 words of Captain America fic that I've been poking off and on since August! :D And I think it might actually be Properly Started this time.

I just programmed my cell alarm to go off every hour, and when it rang I ran to the computer/stopped whatever I was doing on the computer and put up a post. I never realized how long I was doing that!

I got something like 3,000 words done; about 1,000 expanding my plan (which is, for the moment, finished), about 1,200 on a one-shot for my weekly writing club (which is finished), a resounding nothing on my gift fic which I wanted to finish (darn), and about 700 words on a fill for the kink meme (which isn't finished and looks like it'll turn into another one of those monster brain-eating plot bunnies. Sigh).

So, quite accomplished for my first ever round! Thanks for the support and the fun, guys! I'm definitely looking forward to next time :D

But I'm pretty thrilled about kicking a plot bunny out of its nest in a very rapid time, for me. It's been a while since I've been able to turn something around that fast.

I was very absent this round as I've been helping my sister move into her new house, but I managed to write approximately 5,000 words between Friday evening and Sunday morning.

I had fun modding during the FFA, and just wish I could have been around during the rest of the Epic Rush. I did manage to sneak in 540 words this afternoon, making a bit of progress on two different scenes of my big bang.

I managed to post a fic during the negative hours and another part during the positive hours, so that was an amazingly productive fic rush. (Especially since I'm in the middle of moving!)

I reached my goal, one chapter posted on my Big Fic. I had planned for some Yuletide writing, but no luck in that front.
Also, there was freaky occurance of number 7, where my 7th chapter ended up being 7 077 words long and my victory comment was the 7th in the thread...Ooo, spooky :)

It was an epic round, wasn;t it? I was too tired for the first bit to rush/stand in mod and write, but on Saturday got a fic edited for Yuletide and wrote 1000 words of a short fic.
