fic_rush | Send Wedding Congratulations to Beth This Weekend!

Hello fic rushers! As you probably know, our Queen Mod Beth (

lolmac) is getting married this Saturday, August 10th! So, since she was injudicious enough to grant me access to post to this community and to

fic_rush_48, I thought I would take the chance to declare a special Wedding Congratulations weekend!

My thought is to open a post on Friday, August 9th on

fic_rush_48, and link to it from this community. Then we can take the weekend to send congratulations there to Beth and her new wife. We will likely only need one post, but if we start to hit a comment limit, then I will open up a second post (or perhaps one of the other mods with posting access there will do it for me -- hint, hint).

What sort of congratulations should you send? Anything you like! A simple message, or a gif, or a short fic, or a link to something. If it's celebratory, then it's good!

Also, if for some reason you can't post this weekend but want to send congratulations later, that is perfectly acceptable. There's no 48-hour time limit on this "round"!

Basically, I just want Beth to know that the fic_rush community is thinking about her this weekend, and sending congratulations. Also, if anyone has any other / better ideas for how to virtually celebrate this wedding weekend, feel free to say so in the comments here.
