Well, another entertaining round of Fic Rush has, well... rushed by us. And it seems like several of us got some significant writing done, which is always exciting. Be sure to comment and gloat about all the things you did this round!

I only ended up with about 1800 new words divided over two projects but I also buckled down and picked some exchange treats to write and even came up with some ideas for them.

Considering procrastination was strong with me this weekend I don't think even that little bit would have happened without you. So again, thanks.

I did Much Sewing! Mostly working on EPIC sleeves, but I also worked on some fancy-schmancy appliqued decorated stuffs that involved lots of fleurs-de-lys.

I wish Ravelry allowed for "Other" projects, or at least other make-things-from-fiber-type projects, but I do understand why it's been a problem in the past.

I've astonished myself by getting back into the SCA, so in addition to a gown for Missy and a new chemise for myself (that's what the EPIC sleeves are for), I also worked on a new banner for myself this weekend. My first banner, almost 40 freakin' years ago, was glued felt, so this one is . . . highly ornate.

You know, it might have occurred to me that you needed a chemise with incredibly fabulous sleeves for a reason other than fancying something new to wear down the pub, but in fact, it did not. Sounds like SCA provides an ample scope for super fancy!

I came into this weekend looking to write one little character study.

I started that, then halfway through I added in a scene with a different character, wrote a whole bunch for both of them, realized that in order for anything to make sense the characters needed their own stories, and broke it into two - and then realized that it really needs a third story to tie them together.

I came out of this weekend with one little character study... and a bunch of other stuff.

LJ is acting weird for me this morning, but I will try to post anyway.

I've managed to write, yeah, about 2000 words for a challenge and a WIP, not that much, but I'm more than happy with it.

I wrote some words! I am still only part way through one of the many things I am part way through, but I wrote words. Also I did get a massive re-organization of my studio done, and cut a new tunic/tank top out and started assembling it. Which was productive, though not wordy.
