Thu, Dec. 25th, 2014 04:51 pmlolmacHerein is set forth a somewhat sketchy schedule (a schetchy skedule?), since I'm not entirely sure of availability in some cases. Please let me know if this works, or if it does not, or if it shows up ten minutes late and then slacks and drinks coffee.

Sun, Dec. 14th, 2014 07:29 pmlolmacRound 59 will be the 27th and 28th of December. If enough people are off work on Friday the 26th, and there's interest, we could start early again. Writing, I mean. Or drinking. Or both! Both is good.

We saw new faces writing, and old faces returning and writing, and new and old faces modding usurping and sharing the glee. (Well, actually, we didn't see anyone's face at all, but we did see their icons, and that's cool too.) The early start and free-for-all was a fine kick in productivity, and much glee has been had. And our very own a_q scored her first NaNoWriMo win, even as we watched!
We must now crown a new Champion Usurper for this round:a_phoenixdragon, aka a_phoenixdragon, who covered NINE HOURS of emergency stunt modding overall. This includes both free-for-all and Emergency Backup modding. And this is her FIRST TIME as a mod!
Also offer your cheers toglinda_penguin, who returned to mod after a very long hiatus, and clocketpatch, who also modded for the first time!

I have not actually assigned anyone to the Friday daytime shifts: it's currently open for volunteers, first come first usurped. I've divided it into 3-hour shifts. Claim one, and I'll update the schedule and tailor it to your time zone. Anything still unclaimed when we start is fair game for usurpation.xandromedovna, I have only scheduled you for one shift at present, on the expectation that you'll cover part of Friday, and hoping not to burn you out completely by the end of the weekend!
There's also a gap on Sunday, open forbitter rivalry and battles to the death our wonderful volunteers.

Two decisions, in fact: one of the available weekends is Thanksgiving weekend in the US. If we pick that weekend, we have the option of making it a longer round (right at the end of November, which can be a real boon to the NaNo folks).

Please offer special thanks to our newest mod, the lovelty a_q, and to the wonderful xandromedovna, who put in extra shifts and covered my own butt when I messed up my own schedule!
