the story that ate my brain. Hopefully tomorrow I can post chapter one.

I also got my first Arackniss pin. It's funny. The character isn't even canon (yet), just part of the background notes from years ago and everyone has a take on him. Me included. I was not expecting to have such fun with him but he's a blank slate. Now I'm actually dreading seeing Arackniss in actual canon.

Speaking of it, now Season 3 (S2 hasn't even aired yet) has had all its music leaked. It's such a shame. And I know some Hazbin fans will buy it. If there wasn't a market, people wouldn't steal this stuff.

I started editing through the new cryptid story. Had a panic attack when there was at least two scenes missing. Found it later and then some of it was duplicated. UGH HOW? But that's the good news. This story was very close to being way too long. It's not done but I didn't have much left to play with and the villain isn't even here yet.

I don't much feel like celebrating this fourth but found myself at the 4th party/doggie birthday party. My brother's sister in law has two labs. They're so sweet. She also has a pizza oven so it was make your own gluten free pizza. I definitely want one of those ovens. It's stupid and ridiculous and I still want it.

The heat, on the other hand, nearly killed me and I'm still nauseous from it. Ugh.

* There is going to be a transmasc event this year in Portland for Pride. It's at a bar, it's called Boyhole and the event logo is

about what you'd expect from the name.

So, it's time for another round of 'do I go because I at least have access to an (allegedly) trans masc event or do I let the vibes put me off?' I have a feeling that everything else aside, someone by age going might not be chill. Since it is a bar, this might be like last year when the one event didn't really happen, most people were just in the bar that night like they'd be any other night and the vendor side of things got scrapped.

* I am about 1/2 way through converting my D&D characters to the new ruleset. Eh, probably closer to a third of the way done as Tristan wont take as long to redo. Actually, wait, no, I have to make myself new rules references sheets because familiar terms like 'favored enemy' and 'stonecunning' now mean totally different things. I will be done someday.

-write and complete at least one fic (writing more non-exchange fics has been a constant goal and I am hoping to get there)
-read three books (I keep checking books out but I need to actually finish them and find the motivation to read again)

-get more organized (a constant struggle)
-try something new (vague but it's easier when it's broad)
-make more solid traveling plans
-try to write a little very day (I'm hoping consistent habits will be good for me)

I made it to the library this morning, due in no small portion to

kalloway reaching through the internet and all but yeeting me out the door (look the brainweasels are the size of wolverines).

I started at the beginning (nonfiction, always nonfiction) and made it to the fuzzy border between agri/homesteading and food proper and had to pack it in because I ran out of space in the backpack I brought; 99% of crafts, plus history etc will wait another day.

Thirteen books came home with me. I assure you they will all be read.

My brain is fucking starving.
