This was a great round. Five new people randomly showed up in the same weekend, which was great, plus lots of you regulars who I've enjoyed hanging out with every month were around again. All the activity made it really easy to be all enthusiastic cheerleader!mod this time. :D

[livejournal.com profile] lullabymoon not only took over the second night for me, but miraculously appeared on the first night just as I decided that no, staying up all night probably wasn't a good plan. Many thanks for that!

The comments of this post are for bragging. Talk about how much awesome fic you wrote this weekend. That's also a good place for any suggestions, feedback, etc. that you might have.

If you've got something finished and posted, there's a fic gallery where I collect links. (The fic gallery is totally optional. It just makes me feel useful as a mod. :) )

And finally, the Round 10 poll. This poll is open to anyone who might participate next month, whether you've ever participated before then or not.

A note about choosing the 3rd & 4th: in the US, where the 4th of July is a holiday, fic_rush will end from 5PM to 8PM on the 4th depending on your timezone. If your celebrations start and end with going to the nearest city to watch the fireworks, that's just barely doable. Unless it wins by a lot of votes, I'm unlikely to choose that weekend.

Well, not miniscule, but Nick Courtney does have oddly narrow tidy little hands - I tend to notice when he answers the phone. Which he seems to do a lot. They're smaller and smoother than Jamie's, and a LOT smaller than Three's.

(The "lady's hand" thing was an absent-minded reference to James Herriot's veterinarian stories, where he was good at birthing lambs because he had small hands which the farmers would call "lady's hands" for a joke. I guess it does make for a rather startling image with reference to the Brigadier!)

I was just reading that! I'm re-reading those books right now which is probably why that sounded perfectly right. ;-)

Hoom, hum, hrm - something with just the Brig and Master? *ponders*
