For once, the title does not say it all; we have some scheduling bumps that still need to be flattened. Three of our mods have RL issues, and presumably all of our mods have Real Lives, so whatcha gonna do?

I've been contacting some folks directly, but with LJ continuing to deliver some messages days later, it's not going well. Accordingly, can the following folks get in touch with me on modding schedule tweaks?

glinda_penguin, can you start an hour earlier than usual, at 8 am GMT Saturday, and go for five hours instead of four?
first post 8 am GMT Saturday
last post noon GMT Saturday

pitry, can you do the following shift instead of your usual?
first post 5 am GMT Sunday (8 am IST)
last post 8 am GMT Sunday (11 am IST)

juliet316, can you change your shift to the following?
first post 1 pm GMT Sunday (10 am EDT)
last post 6 pm GMT Sunday (2 pm EDT)

Please reply in the comments here. If any of you have already replied to PMs from me asking about this, and you're wondering why I'm asking again -- you can assume that your reply has not reached me yet. Sigh.

ETA: Once I have answers from everyone, I'll post a new schedule for the round. I'll need everyone to check it for errors; there's a lot of changes involved.

Mods, please check the Master Schedule and let me know, in the comments to this post, if you can make it or not.

General note to all members: we have backup coverage in every time slot, except for Don's shifts; she is at present the only mod on the Australian side of things, and the only mod (other than myself) who has a double shift every round. If anyone might be able to consistently cover 6 am to 9 am GMT on Saturday, or 4 am to 8 am GMT on Sunday, please let me know.

isdon_isgood9, I'm not asking this because there's anything wrong with your modding; quite the contrary. I don't want you to burn out or feel that you can't have a life.

Here's a converter for the time zones. The US and Canada are now on Daylight Savings Time, and Australia still is.

dbskyler will not be able to be with us. :-( We'll miss her as a mod, but she'll be back.

Her shift would have been from 11 pm Sat GMT to 3 AM Sun (6-10 PM Eastern, or 3-8 PM Pacific). Is there anyone who might be available to cover that shift?

Also:
Just in case anyone has read the recent LJ announcement about comm 'ownership': although we haven't heard anything recently from

studyofrunning, as the still-active creator of the community, ownership of this comm should automatically default to her when LJ makes the ownership assignments.

And a splendid Lucky Round 13 was had by all! The zombies mostly stayed away, the pirates had cameo roles, and the penguins had glowsticks. We had fun. Writing, editing, betaing, research, commentfic and posting happened. Smut and romance blossomed. Heroes got wet. And everyone had silly hats who wanted them.

For those inclined to continue writing, Hour 41 is only nominally attached to linear time, and will remain available for anyone who wants to use it. Also, Hour 45 is still feeling a little lonely. Feel free to write some more and cheer it up.

Well, there went December. I don’t know how it was for the rest of you, but I spent the first half of it loading a truck and driving 4000 miles, and I’ve spent most of the second half unpacking boxes and figuring out how to fit two people’s stuff into a single living space.[Poll #1662315]

Round 12 is over! We had lots of comings and goings and writing and revising and alien fish. The Hour 5 Strike Force battled to free our muses. For those planning to write tomorrow, Hour 16 should show up eventually.
